  • No, The Academy program is free.

  • The Academy is for students in 6th–8th grade in Waukegan.

  • The Academy is held at John Lewis Middle School in Waukegan. Students from other Waukegan middle schools may participate, as well.

  • Please contact us and we can share more details about The Academy and the registration process.

  • We run two program cycles yearly.

    School Year Program (September-May). The after-school program runs from 2:15pm until 5:30 Monday through Thursday.

    Summary Program. The summer program runs daily from 9:00am until 2:00pm Monday through Friday for eight weeks.

  • The Academy does not have a uniform. Jerseys, shirts, and sweatshirts are provided to all enrolled students at no cost to families.

  • The afterschool program occurs Monday through Thursday and the Summer program occurs Monday through Friday for eight weeks.
